About the Position

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care / Stepdown RN – Ohio

Start Date: December 20, 2026

Location: Central Ohio

Schedule: 13-week assignment with 32 hours of orientation. Float requirements to different units within the organization as needed. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 34 patients across 44 beds.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care experience in Progressive Care, Stepdown, PCU, DOU, or IMC setting
• Experience must be current (actively working in specialty within the last 12 months)
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, and oxygen administration
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, peripheral line management, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
