Senior Staff Accountant & Purchasing ProfessionalCPI AdamWorks, a Division of CPI Radant Technologies Division Inc, is a small aerospace manufacturer located in Centennial, Colorado. We are currently seeking an onsite Senior Staff Accountant & Purchasing professional to manage the company's full accounting and purchasing functions. This is a hands-on role responsible for financial reporting, transactional accounting (AP, AR, payroll), cost accounting, and end-to-end procurement. The position works closely with leadership and operations to ensure financial accuracy, cost control, and supply continuity in a regulated manufacturing environment.Essential Responsibilities:Manage monthly and annual close; maintain general ledger and financial statements in accordance with GAAPPerform journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysisManage cost accounting, including inventory, WIP, standard costing, and overheadSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementEnsure compliance with internal controls and applicable aerospace regulationsSupport internal, external, and customer/government audits as requiredProcess accounts payable, including invoice review, three-way matching, and vendor paymentsManage accounts receivable, invoicing, cash application, and collectionsProcess payroll and related journal entries; coordinate with third-party payroll providersMaintain AP/AR aging and monitor cash flowManage all purchasing activities for materials, components, and servicesIssue and manage purchase orders within QuickBooksSource suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and lead timesMaintain vendor records and ensure pricing and invoice accuracyMonitor inventory levels and support production requirementsIdentify cost reduction and process improvement opportunitiesPartner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to support production and deliverySupport GM with financial inputs for pricing, quoting, and make/buy decisionsSupport management with financial and operational reportingAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Annual Salary: $70000 - $90000Education, Experience, and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience managing AP, AR, payroll, and purchasing functionsStrong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory managementExperience working in a small or lean organizationProficiency with QuickBooks systems and advanced ExcelOther duties as assigned.This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
