Meuser, Yackley Rowland, P.A. (MYR) is a respected Minnesota law firm representing injured workers and first responders statewide. We are seeking a Receptionist to join our fast- paced, collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow within a supportive legal environment. The salary range for this non-exempt position is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Are you friendly, organized, and professional with a knack for making people feel welcome? Our growing firm is hiring a receptionist to greet our customers and perform various clerical tasks. You represent the first point of contact for those visiting our law firm, and as such the ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor and be personable in nature to greet office visitors and make them feel comfortable. Additionally in this role you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service assistance. This oftentimes includes performing ad hoc administrative duties as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where no two days are the same.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, directing them as appropriate
• Answer & direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
• Maintain the conference room scheduling
• Assist with client intake and administrative tasks
• Follow security procedures when issuing visitor badges
• Maintain and keep clean, the reception area and all common areas, including conference rooms
• Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a computer, scanner, fax or copy machine
• Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
• Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly and positively with customers, vendors, and other employees.
• Punctual with strong attendance history
• Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all clients, such as being personable and attentive.
• You should be friendly, organized and comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience in a similar role is nice to have, but not required
