Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health

At Vertus HealthCare, we are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in the comfort of our patients’ homes. We are seeking an experienced and dependable RN to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a ventilator and tracheostomy-dependent patient in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage ventilator settings, alarms, and respiratory equipment
• Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Manage enteral feedings and monitor tolerance
• Provide Foley catheter care and monitor output
• Educate family/caregivers on patient care and emergency procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in:
• Home health
• Ventilator/trach care
• ICU or critical care
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
