Project Coordinator - I-24 Choice Lanes

About the Opportunity HNTB is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the design and construction oversight of the I‑24 Choice Lanes Project, a $5 billion Public‑Private‑Partnership (P3). The project will build two new Choice Lanes in each direction along an approximate 26‑mile corridor of I‑24. The coordinator will perform project‑related coordination, tracking, and administrative duties, including managing developer deliverables, maintaining project schedules, organizing documents, editing reports, and coordinating with right‑of‑way, railroad, utility, and environmental teams. What You’ll Do Prepare and maintain project plans, track progress, and produce reports for clients or stakeholders. Assist in the management, maintenance, and distribution of project schedules in applicable software. Monitor, track, and file large amounts of project documentation and coordinate distribution to internal and external stakeholders. Support the project and office quality plan by documenting performance of management and quality control reviews, and assist with QA/QC documentation and filing structure. Coordinate project meetings, including calendar scheduling, material creation, minutes publishing, and documentation maintenance. Communicate basic issues, problems, or information to project managers and stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or In lieu of education, 4 years of relevant experience. What You'll Bring Experience delivering on‑time, on‑budget, quality projects with client satisfaction as a key metric. Ability to identify and manage risk and change with guidance from senior staff. Proficiency in monitoring tools and project management software. Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills. What We Prefer Experience working with engineers managing project work plans, budgets, and schedules. Experience on alternative delivery transportation projects. Experience in an owner’s representative role.
