Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Per Diem Days

About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Highlights Location : Brick, NJ Facility : Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule : Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition. Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred. Experience: 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New Jersey required by date of hire. BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
