Our work hours run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for continuous professional development and training.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments of patients' needs to ascertain the severity of their trauma and emotional challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and coping strategies designed to guide patients through their healing journey.

• Engage in regular therapy sessions, actively listening to patients’ concerns and modifying approaches based on their feedback and progress.

• Educate patients on coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, empowering them to implement these strategies in everyday situations.

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their changing needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, social services, and community programs to build a network of support for each patient.

• Participate in continuing education to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay at the forefront of mental health best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Behavioral Therapy and Services, you will primarily work with trauma injury patients. This includes individuals recovering from various psychological traumas, ensuring that your approach reflects sensitivity to their unique experiences. Our approach is tailored to facilitate healing, resilience, and empowerment, enabling patients to navigate their emotional landscapes effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
