Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will undertake various responsibilities that are essential to patient care:

• Provide brief, targeted interventions for patients in need of immediate mental health support, ensuring timely care and follow-up.

• Assess and identify patients who may require referrals to specialty mental health facilities while coordinating with primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.

• Initiate regular follow-ups with patients to monitor their progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

• Develop and implement relapse prevention plans to assist patients in maintaining stable functioning and resilience.

• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes thoroughly, keeping all medical records up to date to meet compliance standards.

• Aid patients in understanding their treatment options and promoting self-management skills for better health outcomes.

• Consult with clinic management and other healthcare teams to improve service delivery and participate in program evaluations.

• Support patients’ adherence to medical treatments prescribed by primary care providers by providing coping strategies for dealing with any medication side effects.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• An active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Mountain Springs offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 87,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a SIGN-ON BONUS to help integrate new team members.
