BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER

Job Summary Full‑time Building Maintenance Worker at Accenture Federal Services, 7050 Fairgrounds Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78238. Working Monday–Friday, 7 am–4 pm with occasional overtime and rotating on‑call. Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour. Responsibilities Provide quality service with attention to detail. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; perform minor repairs to doors, fixtures, and furniture. Adjust and perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems. Cleans and restores building interiors damaged by fire, smoke or water using commercial cleaning equipment. Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery; clear debris. Notify managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking areas; apply snow‑melting chemicals. Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance duties. Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding for special events. Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation. Monitor contract cleaning crew’s work. Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming; gather and empty trash; service and clean restrooms. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid non‑CDL ClassC driver’s license. At least 2 years of office/facility maintenance experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong customer service skills. Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.
