Financial Controller We are looking for a results-driven and confident Financial Controller to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. Duties for the Financial Controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information. Your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a Financial Controller will aid our organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem‑solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and have excellent leadership skills. Primary Responsibilities Preparing financial reports. Analyzing financial data. Monitoring internal controls. Overseeing and preparing income statements. Participating in budgeting processes. Managing financial transactions. Streamlining accounting functions and operations. Developing plans for financial growth. Evaluating and managing risk. Coordinating audit processes. Manage performance of finance group and participate on senior leadership team. Work closely with business leaders to achieve financial commitments, proactively identify issues and create recovery plans, drive execution. Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities. Maintain accuracy and integrity of operations financial statements, QOR and FQR schedules. Maintain effective cost accounting system and financial reporting structure. Accountable for balance sheet including provision calculations and reconciliations. Provide leadership to strengthen internal control environment and maintain SOX section 404 compliance. Coordinate with internal and external auditors. Participate in ERP implementation or upgrade. Prepare and review cap ex requests to comply with corporate guidelines. Oversee operational policy controls and implementation. Prepare and review annual budget and forecast. Prepare and organize operational review materials including monthly and quarterly reporting and on‑site visits. Administer systems and policies to effectively measure financial and operational performance. Report on financial status of business units to Division staff on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Manage monthly consolidation of financial results for division management prior to submitting the final version to corporate. Manage long and short‑range operational planning and performance measurement including profit planning, sales forecasts, expense budgeting, asset utilization, cost standards, capital investing and labor tracking. Prepare specialized reports as needed by operations, division, and corporate management. Requirements Master's Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Proven experience in finance management. Good communication skills. Strong leadership qualities. Excellent interpersonal skills. Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals. Auditing experience. Compliance oriented. Proficiency in accounting software. Analytical skills. Minimum 10 years financial management experience in progressively responsible positions within public or multi‑site manufacturing organizations. Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory and GAAP. Knowledge and experience managing financial operations in a multi‑site environment. Track record of financial control and analysis within a complex manufacturing environment. Experience with LIFO accounting. Experience with due diligence, transitions, opening balance sheet, financial integration. Working knowledge of IT; ability to recommend changes and upgrades to meet business needs. B.S. degree required; MBA/CPA preferred. Education & Experience Prior acquisition experience – due diligence, transitions, opening balance sheet, financial integration. Relocation Relocation is authorized for this position. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $115,000 to $145,000 USD. Eligible for the Company's Executive Bonus Plan (up to 25% of base salary) and Long‑Term Incentive Program. 120 hours paid time off and 13 paid holidays.
