Commercial Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate with approximately five years of experience to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role offers meaningful day-to-day ownership of matters and the opportunity to take a leading role in cases. Duties Drive strategy on assigned matters. Draft and supervise major filings. Manage discovery processes. Take and defend depositions. Prepare witnesses for proceedings. Work directly with clients. Requirements Approximately 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting. Excellent writing and judgment skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong deposition experience. Comfortable in client-facing roles. Licensed in Michigan or Ohio, or eligible for admission by examination or waiver. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in Michigan or Ohio. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in legal research and writing.
