Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a confidential client to identify a detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy insurance defense practice. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and prior law firm experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment. Experience in insurance defense is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling insurance defense matters
• Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track court deadlines
• Coordinate with court personnel, clients, and opposing counsel
• Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
• Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts
• Handle billing, time entry, and expense reporting
• Support document production and trial preparation

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a law firm is required
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Familiarity with litigation procedures and legal terminology
• Experience with legal software such as ProLaw, Elite, or TyMetrix is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Discretion in handling confidential information

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
