Director, Business Development - BPO & Managed Services

OpsTeam is increasing its focus on growth in the United States and is looking for an experienced commercial leader to help expand our US client base and market relationships.

OpsTeam designs, builds and operates business functions by combining people, process, technology, automation and AI into an integrated managed service. Clients engage us for ongoing operational capability and outcomes rather than standalone software or traditional staffing.

\n

\n

With an established global delivery capability already in place, we are looking for someone who understands the US outsourcing, BPO and managed-services market, has established industry relationships and can personally originate and develop new client opportunities.

\n

This is a hands-on growth role working directly with OpsTeam's founder and global leadership team.

What you'll do

\n

\n
• Originate new US managed-services and outsourcing opportunities.
\n
• Activate and develop relationships within your existing US network.
\n
• Build relationships with senior executives and operational decision-makers.
\n
• Identify organisations where OpsTeam's operating model can create measurable value.
\n
• Develop strategic partnerships, referral relationships and routes to market.
\n
• Lead early-stage commercial conversations.
\n
• Work with OpsTeam's solution and delivery teams to shape client propositions.
\n
• Develop opportunities from initial conversation through proposal and commercial close.
\n
• Represent OpsTeam at selected US conferences, industry events and client meetings.
\n
• Help refine our US market positioning and priorities as the business grows.

What we're looking for

\n

\n
• 10+ years' experience in BPO, outsourcing, managed services, offshore services, technology services or operations consulting.
\n
• A track record of personally originating new business in the United States.
\n
• Existing relationships with relevant US executives and decision-makers.
\n
• Experience selling recurring managed-service or outsourcing arrangements.
\n
• Knowledge of global or offshore delivery models.
\n
• Experience selling to COO, CFO, CX, technology, compliance, risk or other functional leaders.
\n
• The ability to sell outcomes and business solutions rather than simply headcount or hourly rates.
\n
• Understanding of how automation and AI are changing outsourcing and managed operations.
\n
• The ability to create opportunities independently rather than relying primarily on inbound leads.
\n
• A strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
\n

This is an ongoing US-based commercial role with a combination of fixed and performance-based compensation, with scope to grow as OpsTeam’s US business expands.
