Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Metal Fabricator at our state-of-the-art facility located in Arden Hills, MN, 55112. We are looking for skilled individuals who are passionate about metalworking and eager to contribute to innovative projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials and techniques, ensuring high-quality fabrication that meets our clients' needs.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Operate various metal fabrication machinery, including shears, brakes, and welding equipment.
- Measure and cut metal components to precise dimensions using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble metal parts and structures according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metal fabrication is a plus.
- Proven experience as a metal fabricator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of metalworking techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient in operating welding equipment and other fabrication tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
