Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Contract length: 13 weeks

Shift: 11a–11p (alternate 7p–7a)

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Holiday requirement: Available every other holiday if needed

Patient population: Adults, Geriatrics

Ratios: 1:5 (days, nights, weekends)

Active NY RN license (single-state, NY is not compact)

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (valid NIHSS must be included with submittal)

1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in the Emergency Department

Experience with IV therapy, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and general emergency care

EPIC charting experience (required)

Provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in the emergency department

Perform triage and make critical decisions to ensure effective patient care

Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including IV therapy and respiratory support

Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care

Orientation: 24 hours

Cancellation policy: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the contract without charge
