Accounting Manager

PAY GRADE GG31 / FULL PAY RANGE $8,733 - $12,311 PER MONTH Responsibilities Oversee daily Accounting Division operations, including supervision of professional staff. Manage general ledger activities, monthly and annual financial reporting. Coordinate ACFR, Single Audit, and SEFA/SESA preparation. Resolve complex accounting issues. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Coordinate internal and external audit requests and implement audit recommendations. Review grant-related financial reporting. Maintain compliance with GAAP, GASB, Uniform Guidance, and City policies. Support process improvements, develop financial procedures, and prepare annual budget. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. Five years of progressive governmental accounting experience. Three years of supervisory experience. Texas CPA license preferred. Valid Texas driver’s license required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
