About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Residential Services to lead and oversee the daily operations of its residential department. The successful candidate will be responsible for program oversight and expansion, strategic planning, staff management, budget administration, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a leader with a strong background in residential operations, including the development of new and innovative service models to meet the needs of individuals. The AVP will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of the residential programs. Applicants for the AVP of Residential Services position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in human services, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities. A minimum of 5 years of management experience in residential operations is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OPWDD regulations, be proficient in budget and fiscal management, and possess strong leadership skills for staff development and training. The role demands a professional with a continuous improvement mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders. The AVP will also be expected to demonstrate ethical judgment, professional integrity, and a customer service orientation, with a focus on person-centered and best-practice-aligned services.
