Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and couples therapy to clients across diverse age groups, focusing on their mental health and emotional well-being.

• Utilize a billing service to manage client claims, insurance accounts receivable, and eligibility verification, ensuring efficient administrative processing.

• Maintain meticulous records and complete client notes in a timely manner, adhering to best practices within the field.

• Manage your schedule by efficiently setting ongoing appointments and keeping your calendar updated.
\n
• Demonstrate the ability to work with a wide variety of clinical presentations, adapting therapeutic approaches as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves clients undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders, as well as individuals from various backgrounds experiencing mental health challenges. Therapists are expected to establish strong, trust-based relationships with clients, guiding them through therapeutic processes to foster healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is essential.

• Current and valid LCSW license to practice independently in Virginia.
\n
• Strong organizational skills, cultural competency, and excellent therapeutic boundaries.

• Ability to exhibit self-motivation and strong time-management skills to manage caseloads effectively.

• Availability to work at least 20-25 hours per week, including two evenings per week.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
