Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Home Infusion Pharmacist to join a healthcare team on a direct hire basis. This role focuses on ensuring safe and accurate intravenous medication preparation and patient support within a home infusion setting.
Location: Cicero, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify IV medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and compliance.
- Communicate directly with patients to provide necessary counseling and support.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in hospital pharmacy and home infusion environments.
- Strong knowledge or hands-on experience with IV compounding is highly preferred.
- Valid and current NY State pharmacist license is mandatory.
- Clean background with no legal or driving violations that could affect licensure.
