Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the needs of patients and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to assist individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational sessions, promoting community support and shared learning experiences amongst clients.

• Collaborate with our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to provide coordinated care tailored to each patient's unique situation.

• Offer crisis intervention services, ensuring that support is available during emergencies to manage acute mental health challenges.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and additional community resources tailored to their needs.

• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards related to confidentiality and documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including staying current with advancements in mental health care and sharing insights with the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role emphasizes a strong focus on diverse patient populations experiencing a variety of mental health issues. You will work with individuals from various backgrounds and demographics, allowing you to apply culturally competent approaches in your therapeutic practice. Our patients come to us looking for reliable support as they navigate their mental health journeys, whether that be through managing anxiety, addressing substance abuse, or coping with life transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Capacity to conduct in-depth assessments and create individualized treatment plans that effectively address patients’ needs.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy in a variety of settings is essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient information efficiently.

• An ability to collaborate thoughtfully with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
