KidSuccess School-Based Case Manager - Internship - Bilingual

Position Summary This internship works with the KidSuccess team to provide professional case management services to adolescents, children, and families, promoting individual and family stability, self‑sufficiency, and academic achievement as part of the KidSuccess school‑based mental health program. This position requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Must be enrolled in an accredited school program. This position is for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Essential Functions Assess and link families to community resources as appropriate for the family’s needs. Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and supportive services to assist clients in meeting treatment goals from a case management lens. Implement and monitor treatment/service plans with clients as it relates to case management goals. Collaborate with other programs within the JFS agency and other community prevention agencies. Network and communicate professionally to promote JFS while gathering and providing resources to and from community members. Authorize services of the program based on assessment of need and availability of resources. Coordinate and help with special department programs. Maintain accurate case records; document client contacts and progress to ensure accountability. Attend and support therapists during wellness groups, school events, and community fairs, which may occur during or after school hours. Attend supervision weekly with the case manager and clinical supervisor to support case management needs. Assist with intakes, services, and case management needs for Weinberg Food Pantry clients. Input client information into databases as required. Participate in staff training as required. Submit relevant data points for reports and documents regarding the program. Adhere to all grant eligibility and documentation requirements. Use creativity and innovation in program development and service delivery. Maintain confidentiality of client and agency information. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Be organized with documentation, including documentation containing PHI (Protected Health Information). Other duties as assigned. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products. Bilingual English‑Spanish. Work Environment In‑Office (Hybrid Possible). Work is primarily performed in our office at 3201 South Tamarac Dr., Denver 80231. Position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule with a combination of remote and in‑office work. Essential physical requirements: Frequently sitting and typing. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and use standard office equipment. Physical effort/lifting: The employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 10 pounds.
