Sample Coordinator

Job Description\nAbout the Role\n\nA growing fashion brand is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Coordinator to support its creative and marketing teams by managing all aspects of product samples for photography, campaigns, and cross-functional initiatives. In this role, you’ll oversee the end-to-end sample lifecycle, from ordering and tracking to organizing, shipping, and returning items, to ensure the smooth execution of photo shoots and other creative projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes, excels in logistics, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n Coordinate the ordering, tracking, and receiving of product samples for creative projects\n Maintain an organized sample inventory system at HQ, ensuring easy access for all teams\n Prepare and ship samples to photographers, stylists, and production partners\n Track outbound and inbound shipments and follow up to ensure timely delivery\n Ensure the correct samples are delivered to each shoot location and returned as needed\n Support the styling and creative teams with sample prep and organization before shoots\n Maintain detailed sample tracking spreadsheets and documents\n Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, and merchandising\n Assist with general studio organization and photo shoot prep as needed\n Be onsite at HQ at least 3 days/week to manage physical sample coordination\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n 2–4 years of experience in sample coordination, production, or a related role in apparel, retail, or creative environments\n\n\nRequired Skills\n\n\n Strong organizational skills and attention to detail\n Ability to manage multiple moving parts and prioritize effectively\n Proactive problem solver with a sense of urgency and follow-through\n Strong written and verbal communication skills\n Comfortable working cross-functionally with different teams\n Familiar with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, or similar tracking systems\n Based in the Los Angeles area with the ability to work on a hybrid schedule\n\n\nPay range and compensation package\n\n\n Rate 20 - $30 per hour\n This role is temp-to-perm\n\n\nEqual Opportunity Statement\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome all qualified applicants.\n
