Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide counseling services via telehealth from the comfort of your own home. Our typical working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing you with a structured schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess the mental health needs of clients, establishing a professional rapport to facilitate open communication.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies and coping mechanisms tailored to each client's unique challenges.

• Regularly monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments, and adjust treatment strategies as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Educate clients and their support networks about trauma resilience and effective coping techniques, enhancing their understanding and self-management of mental health issues.

• Coordinate with social services, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to ensure comprehensive support for clients, integrating additional resources as needed.

• Maintain accurate patient records in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and efficient information sharing across relevant parties.

• Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling through continuous education and professional development, including maintaining National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced trauma, which significantly impacts their mental health. This includes individuals recovering from emotional injuries, those coping with distressing life events, and clients seeking support during challenging transitions. You will work closely with these clients to facilitate healing and resilience, employing a trauma-informed care approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
