Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk - Forklift Operator - Experienced

Company/Location: Avtec Finishing / New Hope MN

Shift: Days Shift, Monday-Friday (hours determined at hire)

Wage: $24/hour + DOQ

Signing Bonus: $1500 (current employees are not eligible for signing bonus)

Avtec Finishing provides metal finishing services for customers in the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing sectors. The parts we process help support products used every dayfrom aircraft components and medical equipment to industrial hardware.

We're growing and looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Forklift Operator to help keep materials and finished products moving efficiently throughout our facility.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
• Receive incoming customer and vendor shipments
• Verify and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
• Package and prepare completed orders for shipment
• Coordinate shipping activities with UPS, delivery services, and LTL carriers
• Deliver scheduled orders to production departments
• Retrieve completed work from production and return it to shipping
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Assist with other shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or forklift experience preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer and typing skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to read a tape measure and analog clock
• Authorized to work in the United States

This position is part of a manufacturing environment that supports highly regulated industries. To maintain security and customer requirements, personal mobile devices must be secured during working hours and may only be accessed during authorized breaks in designated areas.
