Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned clinical education content to impacted staff.
• Support education for core staff, travelers, contract labor, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide unit-based rounding, reinforcement, and just-in-time coaching.
• Validate understanding and/or competency when required.
• Document education completion accurately and timely.
• Identify barriers to completion and escalate concerns to Clinical Education leadership.

Qualifications

• Acute care experience in critical care or procedural settings.
• Strong communication, coaching, and teaching skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established education plans.
• Experience in nursing education and clinical teaching preferred.
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with high-risk education, regulatory readiness, or quality/safety initiatives.
