Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager6 Degrees Group is recruiting for an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager in Alpharetta, GA. This role is with a growing construction/design-build organization and calls for a hands-on leader who can run full-cycle AP and AR while managing a sizable team. The company needs someone who can bring structure to a fast-paced environment, mentoring 12–15 AP Clerks and Construction Project Accountants while staying deeply involved in day-to-day financial operations. Strong construction industry experience is essential, particularly around AIA billing, retainage, and subcontractor compliance. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned accounting leader who wants both strategic ownership and a direct hand in the details.Responsibilities:Supervise and mentor a team of AP Clerks and Construction Project AccountantsOversee full-cycle AP and AR functions, including month-end close and internal controlsManage project accounting and billing, including AIA billing, job costing, and lien waiver complianceResolve escalated vendor and billing disputes while identifying process improvement opportunitiesQualifications:5+ years of progressive accounting management experience, including 3+ years in a direct supervisory roleBachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldDirect experience in construction, design-build, or real estate development requiredAdvanced proficiency in QuickBooks or mid-tier construction ERPs (NetSuite, Sage, MS Dynamics 365) and Excel
