Construction Attorney (Transactional Role)

Our firm is seeking a senior Construction Attorney for our New York office to counsel architects, engineers, and other design professionals. This is a transactional and advisory role — not a litigation seat — for an experienced lawyer who wants to own client relationships with full firm support behind them.

What You'll Do:

• Represent architects, engineers, and design professionals across the lifecycle of construction projects
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on design and construction contracts, including AIA and custom agreements
• Counsel clients on risk management, licensing, project structuring, and day-to-day legal questions
• Serve as a trusted, ongoing advisor rather than a matter-by-matter resource

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong transactional focus in construction and design-professional work
• Admission to the New York bar and good standing
• A portable book of business is a significant plus and will be reflected in compensation
