Graduate of Ophthalmology Assistant or Medical Assistant accredited training program preferred. 1 year experience in a physician's office or hospital outpatient department may be accepted in lieu of degree/diploma from accredited ophthalmology or medical assistant program. Experience: Ophthalmology Assistant experience preferred but not required. Licensure: N/A Certification: Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification preferred. American Heart Association / Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
