Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Summary: Seeking a Microbiology Tech with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to join our clinical laboratory team. This role requires current certification as a Medical Technologist through ASCP and licensure as a Medical Technologist in Tennessee, with flexibility for night shifts. Responsibilities: Perform and oversee microbiology laboratory tests with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Analyze test results accurately and report findings promptly to healthcare providers. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow strict compliance guidelines, including travel and credentialing requirements. Document all testing procedures, results, and quality control measures thoroughly. Qualifications: Hold current National Registry certification as a Medical Technologist via ASCP. Licensed as a Medical Technologist in the state of Tennessee. Possess at least 2 years of recent microbiology laboratory experience; 3+ years preferred. Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory information systems, preferably EPIC.
