Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a licensed Medical Technologist (MLT or MLS) for a clinical chemistry laboratory role. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold current certification in Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

Perform and analyze complex diagnostic tests in the chemistry section of the clinical laboratory.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments following standard protocols.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of test results.
Adhere to strict compliance standards, including travel and certification regulations.
Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure quality control and safety standards are maintained.
Follow all facility policies regarding credentialing, vaccination, and shift scheduling.

Qualifications:

Hold a current National Registry certification as a Medical Technologist through ASCP.
Possess an active Medical Technologist license in the state of Tennessee.
Have at least 2 years of recent relevant laboratory experience, with preference for 3+ years.
Demonstrate proficiency in chemistry testing, with EPIC experience preferred.
Be able to work day shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and travel within 100 miles of the facility.
Comply with the facility's strict travel and credentialing requirements.
