Commercial Title Assistant

Support Title Officers with commercial real estate transactions Assist with title commitment reviews, title and tax updates, title curative matters, title and underwriting requests, document routing and uploading, recording fees, transfer tax information, and invoices Create and maintain files, records, and reports Manage new order entry and fulfillment, paperless file setup, order tracking, and post-closing functions Review Buyer, Seller, and Lender transaction documents for closings Gather and enter title fees for settlement statement preparation with the escrow team Review recording packages, calculate recording fees, and coordinate document recording with county and municipal recording offices Communicate professionally with internal and external parties Perform other duties as assigned Requirements 2+ years title industry experience, commercial preferred Prior experience reviewing and submitting recording packages for real estate transactions High School diploma or equivalent Proficiency in Adobe and MS Office, including Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, and Teams Ability to quickly learn company operating systems and new software applications and technologies FAST experience preferred Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills Strong time management skills, including email and file management Keen attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize and multitask in a highly productive manner Ability to contribute to a collaborative team focused on customer expectations Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude Demonstrates expertise in managing commercial real estate transactions, including title commitment reviews and document recording.
