Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The role includes both direct therapy and consultative collaboration with educational and behavioral teams, utilizing evidence-based practices, including ABA principles and verbal behavior techniques.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Virginia
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy SLP settings
• Familiarity with designing and implementing goals for students with developmental disabilities, specifically autism
• Strong knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and verbal behavior interventions
• Background working with SLPA roles (a plus)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Program and deliver speech-language goals as part of students' IEPs and behavioral programs
• Serve students ages 5-22 with diverse needs related to communication, social skills, and language development
• Collaborate with educators, families, and behavioral specialists for integrated service delivery
• Monitor, document, and report progress toward IEP goals
• Employ both in-person and teletherapy models as needed within the school community
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insights for ongoing student growth
