Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this engaging contract opportunity, you'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to support students ages 5–22 with autism and other developmental disabilities. Leveraging your clinical expertise, you'll program and deliver individualized speech-language goals within each student’s educational and behavioral plan. This role is full-time for the entire upcoming school year, ensuring continuity of care and the chance to make a true difference in each child’s growth and communication abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Virginia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status for SLPs, or relevant Healthcare/School experience for SLPAs
• Proven background working with pediatric populations, especially those with autism and developmental disabilities
• Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and verbal behavior methods
• Experience with teletherapy platforms as well as in-person therapy strongly preferred
• School-based and healthcare SLP/SLPA experience highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

• Program and implement individualized speech-language goals as part of students’ educational and behavioral plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, integrating SLP objectives with IEP and ABA programming
• Provide therapy to students in group and individual settings, in-person and/or via teletherapy as needed
• Document progress, contribute to IEP meetings, and offer resources to educational staff and families
• Utilize evidence-based strategies tailored to each student’s unique needs and strengths
• Maintain compliance with school and district policies along with best clinical practices
