Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students ages 5–22 with autism and other developmental disabilities in this contract role for the full upcoming school year. This opportunity involves programming and delivering speech-language goals within each student’s individualized educational and behavioral plan. The position is based in a school setting near Sterling, VA and seeks professionals passionate about making a difference in communication development.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Virginia SLP license required
• CCC-SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials considered
• Experience or familiarity with ABA principles and verbal behavior strongly preferred
• Background in pediatric speech-language therapy—school and healthcare environments
• Previous experience with teletherapy is valued
• Comfortable serving students with diverse developmental needs
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with educators, therapists, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Create and implement targeted speech and language goals for students with autism and developmental disabilities
• Develop individualized therapy sessions based on IEPs and behavioral programs
• Analyze student data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and behavior analysts
• Document all services, therapy progress, and communication with families in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
• Provide consultative and direct services across in-person or virtual settings
