Title
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
- Shift Type: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend: Scheduled for weekends as needed

Assignment Details
- Minimum Assignment Length: 10 weeks

Requirements
- Required Experience: 2 years Emergency Department experience (1.5 years will be considered)
- Required Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Travel Experience: Strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered if they have 2+ years Level I experience
- Trauma Experience: Level II trauma required; Level I trauma experience preferred
- Charge Experience: Previous charge experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Perform triage and assessment of patients presenting with diverse medical conditions
- Administer medications, including IV medications and vasopressors
- Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilation, arterial and central line care
- Participate in trauma resuscitations and support for various medical emergencies

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: Approximately 24 hours
- Time Off Policy: Maximum 7 days preferred; no requests for time off during the first 7 days or the last day of the contract
- Drug Screen: Required within 30 days of start
- Scrubs Color: Black
