Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts Weekend: Scheduled for weekends as needed

Assignment Details: Minimum Assignment Length: 10 weeks

Required Experience: 2 years Emergency Department experience (1.5 years will be considered)

Required Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS

Travel Experience: Strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered if they have 2+ years Level I experience

Trauma Experience: Level II trauma required; Level I trauma experience preferred

Charge Experience: Previous charge experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Perform triage and assessment of patients presenting with diverse medical conditions Administer medications, including IV medications and vasopressors Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilation, arterial and central line care Participate in trauma resuscitations and support for various medical emergencies

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: Approximately 24 hours Time Off Policy: Maximum 7 days preferred; no requests for time off during the first 7 days or the last day of the contract Drug Screen: Required within 30 days of start Scrubs Color: Black
