Job Description Pinnacle partners is partnered with a client in New York (Astoria) hiring a Senior Accountant. Key Responsibilities:

We're hiring across multiple divisions:
- Lead and support junior accounting staff.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to leadership.
- Assist with annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Help develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings.
- Oversee complex account reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with departments to improve financial processes.
- Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Knowledge of OCC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, advanced Excel, FIS (Horizon), and BankTel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritize changing responsibilities.
