Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $1,657-$1,764 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to admitted general medical and surgical patients on a rapid admissions unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor vital signs and clinical status; administer medications per orders
- Manage high patient turnover with a 5-6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio; coordinate admissions, transfers, and dispositions; document in the EHR
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely care and smooth transitions
- Ensure patient safety and comfort; respond to acute changes in condition; prepare patients for procedures or discharge as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation, adhere to unit protocols, and uphold infection prevention and safety standards

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Certification Card (e.g., BLS) and Nursys license verification
- Clear communication and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapid-admission unit
- Availability for Day shift on a 12x3 schedule and ability to meet guaranteed hours
