Senior Accounting Manager

GQR is a growing Staffing Solutions firm, and we are looking for an Accounting Manager to work directly with the Controller out of our NYC office. This is a hybrid position; we are located in Chelsea. The Opportunity: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across financial reporting Review journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for leadership and external stakeholders Partner with external auditors and support audit readiness, compliance initiatives, and tax reporting Analyze margins and financial variances across multiple legal entities Manage and mentor accounting team members while helping improve systems, processes, and operational scalability Collaborate cross-functionally with internal leadership and external partners to support business objectives What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required CPA or equivalent certification required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes within a fast-paced environment Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working within ERP/CRM systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, or Bullhorn Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Experience within a high-growth and/or private equity-backed environment preferred If you’re looking to join a collaborative, fast-paced finance team where you can make a direct impact on operational growth and accounting strategy, we’d love to connect. #J-18808-Ljbffr GQR
