Location: Auburn, NY, United States Pay Range: Incumbents of the Mechanical Maintenance Technician teammates in this position average annually $90k- $110K. Basic Job Functions: - A Mechanical Maintenance Technician will have a working knowledge of basic mechanical principles and possess practical experience as it relates to the mechanical maintenance function. Basic functions will include, but are not limited to: - PM tasks such as lubricating - Inspection and monitoring machinery - Trouble shooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, power transfer mechanism such as coupling, gear boxes, belts and sheaves - Basic metal fabrication including cutting, grinding, and welding. - Mobile Equipment including Scissors Lifts and Man Lifts - Must have the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
