Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager for a contract/temporary opportunity in Fremont, CA. This interim role will provide critical HR leadership and operational continuity during a temporary leave period, supporting day-to-day Human Resources functions across employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and general HR administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys stepping into a visible, hands-on leadership role where they can make an immediate impact. The HR Manager will work closely with leadership and provide guidance to an HR Coordinator in a collaborative, professional environment that values stability, clear communication, employee support, and responsive HR service.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, programs, policies, and practices during the interim assignment.
- Provide support for recruitment, hiring, onboarding, promotions, offboarding, and employee documentation.
- Manage employee relations matters, leaves, accommodations, compliance requirements, and employee-related concerns as needed.
- Support compensation, benefits, 401(k), payroll-related questions, employee engagement, recognition, and company events.
- Coordinate and manage the annual performance review process, typically occurring from January through April.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and communicate relevant compliance updates to leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $90,000 to $105,000 per year.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Fremont, CA.
