Work Environment\n

This full-time position operates in a telehealth setting, providing you with the flexibility to work from your home while collaborating closely with our diverse team of mental health professionals. You will interact with your colleagues through virtual meetings and communication platforms, ensuring a connected and collaborative work atmosphere that prioritizes patient care and team support. Traditional office hours are observed, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some flexibility may be needed to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' specific needs, establishing rapport to foster open communication.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Deliver individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, providing psychoeducation and support to help clients understand mental health challenges and treatment options.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups, creating a space for patients to share experiences and learn from one another.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in acute distress, guiding them through challenging situations and connecting them with necessary resources.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care strategies and refine therapeutic techniques.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in mental health treatment to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Terrence Therapeutic Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our patients come from different backgrounds, each requiring compassionate, individualized attention. You will not only provide therapy but also act as an advocate, helping them navigate mental health resources and community support systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) within California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and various therapeutic approaches is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
