Junior Accountant (Private Equity)

Multi-strategy investment firm with 100 employees and offices around the globe managing $6 billion in assets is seeking a private equity accountant to join their team. Job Responsibilities: Daily P&L reporting for the funds Preparation and fund expenditures packages and wire transfer requests; analyze and prepare expense allocations between multiple fund entities Maintain detailed summary tracking expenditures across funds Assist with month end close process Including tie out of administrator work papers Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities Perform daily/weekly/monthly position and cost reconciliations Verify portfolio pricing to third party sources and address ad hoc requests as needed. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related discipline-CPA (or parts passed) 2-4 years of experience in the investment management field (public accounting with alternative asset management clients or at a private equity firm or hedge fund) Basic understanding of various investment classes Strong Excel skills and communication skills – both written and verbal Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Self-motivated and takes ownership over work product Experience with Advent Geneva preferred, not required Compensation: Open Job ID: 8035 #J-18808-Ljbffr Northbound Executive Search
