Work Environment

Our outpatient facility features ten individualized treatment rooms and a central gym area, which is essential to maximizing rehabilitation success. Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Administering therapeutic modalities, therapeutic exercises, and advanced manual techniques to facilitate recovery from injuries and surgeries.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress using our EMR system, ensuring clear communication of treatment outcomes and adjustments.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and self-management strategies.
• Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to enhance the continuum of care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Upholding the highest standards of patient safety, hygiene, and compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation, catering to patients aged 16 to 90. You will assist individuals recovering from various conditions, particularly post-injury or post-operative scenarios. Our focus on returning patients to their functional activities and passions drives our therapeutic approach, with the aim of improving their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience
