Our 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to provide exceptional services primarily to patients with private medical insurance. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive team environment consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant devoted to delivering customized care.

Work Environment

This full-time physical therapist position is based onsite within a vibrant rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles—a city known for its dynamic culture and diverse population. Our amenities ensure that our team can deliver effective treatments in a conducive environment, enhancing both staff and patient experiences. Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Manage patient caseload effectively, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and focus on results.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques to implement cost-effective therapies that promote mobility and strengthen physical abilities.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to encourage active participation and adherence to their treatment plans.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to review and assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions, monitoring patient progress and adjusting care as necessary.
• Create physical fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient, helping them achieve their health goals.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and care provided in compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.
• Engage with patients to promote lifestyles that prioritize health, strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic outpatient cases, working with a diverse range of clientele who seek recovery from injuries and enhancement of physical function. By fostering trust and establishing effective communication with patients, you will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation journey, empowering them to achieve their highest potential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid and clean state license as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No prior board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a solid grasp of exercise physiology.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and motivate patients.

Compensation and Benefits
