Role Description This is a full-time, on-site or remote Commercial Loan Officer role based in Riverside, CA. The Commercial Loan Officer will source, develop, and manage commercial lending relationships, including small business and SBA loan opportunities. Daily responsibilities include evaluating loan requests, analyzing financial statements, structuring credit solutions, and preparing underwriting recommendations in line with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating loan documentation and closing processes, and proactively managing risk. The Commercial Loan Officer will also collaborate with internal teams, participate in community and business development activities, and maintain ongoing communication with clients to support long-term relationships. Qualifications Experience working as a Loan Officer with a focus on commercial and small business lending. Strong foundation in Finance, including credit analysis, cash flow review, and risk assessment. Underwriting expertise in evaluating Loans, structuring terms, and preparing credit presentations. Knowledge of SBA lending programs, policies, and documentation requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and generate new business in a community banking environment. Familiarity with banking regulations, loan compliance standards, and internal control practices. Proficiency with loan origination systems and standard office productivity tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
