Payroll Specialist
We're hiring a Payroll Specialist to process payroll accurately and on time, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and maintain organized payroll records. This role plays a key part in supporting both HR and Finance operations while ensuring employee pay is handled with care and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll for all employees
- Ensure accurate wage calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with legal standards
- Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, taxes, and timekeeping
- Prepare payroll reports and support audits as needed
- Coordinate with HR and accounting on benefit deductions, new hires, and terminations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficient in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and wage/hour laws
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Average Pay Rate: $26 $30 / Hour
