Quality Liaison (Automotive) - Fraser, MichiganMust have own reliable transportation as you will be required to travel to other local locations to support customerPay Rate: $22.00 - $23.00 (based on proven work history)Full-time (40 hour position with potential overtime)The ideal candidate chosen for this position will have a strong automotive quality background with automotive interior plastics.Quality Liaison Description:A quality liaison acts as a focal point for customer problems, questions or concerns. They coordinate with the proper company personnel to provide timely and accurate answers for the customers. This position requires good people skills.Primary Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Liaison:On site quality representation for Automotive Supplier ClientsAttend all Customer quality and warranty meetingsAttend all Customer engineering and vehicle launch meetingsDirect involvement with Customer quality and engineering teams in understanding quality concerns, data collection, measurement analysis and root cause identificationDirect involvement with Customer quality and engineering teams in establishing Interim Containment ActionsDirect involvement with Client quality and engineering teams to understand and establish Permanent Corrective ActionsCommunication with Client and Customer teams to present Client actions and countermeasures to address identified quality concernsInteraction with Customer production teams and managers in the production environmentUnderstand, adhere to and practice safety guidelines in the production environmentWork and communicate within the Quality Strategies teams to developed team concepts, goals and directions to increase efficiency and professionalism.Skills and Experience Required of the Quality Liaison:Experience in automotive manufacturing environmentsAssociates degree in related field or work experience equal to degree levelProficient in basic computer programs; Word, Excel, PowerPointProficient in the creation, development and charting of data related to automotive quality engineering quality aspectsAbility to use, read and understand measurement tools related to the automotive quality field, such as; micrometers, calipers, scales, and force gagesOutstanding communication skills in both presentation and the ability to listen, understand and follow through on directions communicated by Client, Customer and Quality Strategies management teamsProfessional attitude, appearance, communication, mannerism and respect for authority.A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.By applying for this role, you confirm that all information submitted is accurate and complete.
