Insurance Operations Sr. Specialist

Are you an exceptional communicator, meticulous with details, and have a passion for troubleshooting system issues with workflows?  Do you have the ability to be fluid, change gears, and jump on the highest priority quickly? This is a multi-faceted, dynamic role for the knowledge-seeking, detail-oriented, client-focused, system-loving professional!   The contract is currently set for a year due to a large uptick in the workload.  The company is offering FREE PARKING in their private parking ramp.  Plan on being on-site for the first 4-6 weeks to gain the most out of the training. Once the training is complete and you are self-sufficient, you have the ability to work 2 days from home per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Document Creation Team and the System Maintenance Team with a variety of analytical, operational, system troubleshooting, and client interaction accountabilities
• Flex and pivot to provide support to the priority at hand
• Intake new client documentation
  • Review the documentation for accuracy
  • Research and track down missing information
  • Contact internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all missing information is inputted and 100% accurate in the system
• Provide quality assurance to new clients for systems implementation; including setup, testing, and administration of the point-of-sale product programs
• Calculate and audit premium, discount, interest, and loan amounts 
• Ensure premium remittance and claims systems are set up properly with policy numbers for the new credit protection clients
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, Account Managers, Sales Directors, Distribution Partners, and Home Office associates regarding internal systems questions
• Assist third-party vendors with form testing  and proper setup in financial institutions
• Partner with sales and underwriting teams to ensure program details are accurate before setting up in the internal system of record
• Build internal relationships, learn the processes, and share feedback
