Termite Technician

What do our Termite Technicians do? Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers' properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense, providing inspections, prevention, and treatment services that give customers peace of mind. Responsibilities Identify customer's termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps. Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices. Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications that may supplement the treatment process. Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided. Interact with customers and explain services provided. Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations. Prepare the job site for treatment. Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders. Work comfortably 20 feet up on a ladder, in small confined spaces, and on roofs and high areas. Perform tasks that involve regular sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and moving up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Qualifications Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face). High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Flexibility with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us). Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Pay Base pay range: $20.00 ‑ $23.00 per hour. Pay may vary by geography, skills, education, experience, and may include overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment where applicable.
